Holt (noun) - the den of an otter.

Tim and Katerina are both classical musicians who have a passion for the outdoors as well as architechture and interior design.

Otters Holt was originally the water bailiff’s cottage where he had immediate access to the river to stop illegal salmon poaching and the likes. Over the decades it gradually evolved until 2019 when the couple bought it and started its latest transformation into what it is today.

Inspired by the nature around them Tim and Katerina wanted to include as much of the natural world into their renovation as they could, whether it be using ash trees from the garden for floorboards and furniture or slate from the local quarry up the river, every element has been carefully considered to showcase the best of the natural world.

Otters Holt is perfectly situated for action adventure or lazy days. With immediate access to the river you can go wild river swimming or canoeing, or if you want to immerse yourself in nature then sit back and relax in the hot tub or wood fired sauna and watch the wildlife pass by.
